Yoder’s Furniture is owned and operated by Joel Troyer. He was born and raised in Holmes County, OH. Joel and his wife, Ruth, have lived in Colorado for the past 8 years. They have been blessed with 2 boys and 2 girls and enjoy trail riding in the mountains and gardening.

Joel was involved in in his family’s hardwood milling and logging business in Ohio prior to starting the furniture store. This background has proved valuable in the furniture industry.

Freeman Miller is a salesman at Yoder’s. He was born and raised in Mundfordville, Kentucky. Freeman and his wife, Mary Ann, have been a part of the Amish community in Westcliffe for 4 years. They have been blessed with 3 girls and 1 boy. As a family, they enjoy riding horses and camping. Freeman was a cabinet builder before his move to Westcliffe.

Iva Raber works as an accountant at Yoder’s and enjoys hiking in the mountains, as well as the peace and quiet that can be found in the valley every day. She grew up in Homes County, OH and has lived in the Westcliffe community for 2 years.

Andy Mast grew up in Belle Rive, Illinois and is the pencil artist in residence. He has been coming to Westcliffe, where he now resides, for 4 years. Most of his time is spent at the store where he produces fine, graphite art. His passion is his art and horses. He loves riding in the mountains.

The Amish Craftsmen that build the furniture sold at Yoder’s are typically small, family businesses that are second or third generation woodworkers in Ohio or Indiana. These furniture makers enjoy using old-time skills and tools to build furniture that is expected to last for generations.
